The AISK Way

The AISK Way is a term coined over the years to describe the uniqueness of the School’s strategies,  and traditions along with specific teaching methods are used to educate the students entrusted in the Schools’ care.

The departments with direct responsibility and accountability on The AISK Way are Teaching and Learning, Student Support and Guidance Counseling, and Information Technology as it relates to integrating the curriculum with technology, and the skills and training of the faculty in lesson delivery.

The AISK Way Team

The overarching accountability of Teaching and Learning is shaping our students' by honing their skills and attributes as human beings, their attitude to learning, their relationship to the school community, country and the globe.

Preparing students for an unknown tomorrow they must possess dynamic skills that will see them through regardless of the challenges of their circumstance. They must be armed with skill sets that include adaptability, empathy, resilience, accountability, creativity, a collaborative mindset, design process thinking and problem solving,  The focus is on fostering a ‘can do’ operative, that is unafraid to take risks and will take failure as a teacher and not a reason to stop.

Creating learners who shape the future is an awesome responsibility and a  privilege, and one which the department comes to humbly and positively. Teaching and Learning is directly responsible for the curriculum design and delivery of the K-12 knowledge base to accomplish these outcomes.
