We can admit children at this time and are happy to have them join our Distance Learning Plan.
At the core of AISK's student-centered philosophy great importance is placed on student voice and opinion. As a community, we encourage leadership and empower students to make things happen because they see a need.
Students understand students and the AISK community listens, finds resources and empowers them to be active members of our community and have an understanding on how to create and contribute to communities both globally and locally. This provides students with skills of logistical responsibility, independence and creativity, all skills necessary in a rapidly changing and dynamic society.
Student Government is a great leadership opportunity for students and the beginning of the journey in understanding the role and responsibility of leadership. Students who are involved feel excited, empowered, and learn the real meaning of giving. They reap the benefits and fun to be had being a part of Student Government.
Student Government is a forum for students to share ideas, interests and concerns with teachers and the Principal. Fundraising is also a major part of the activities of this group. The Governments of each division hosts school-wide activities, including social events to build school spirit, and community projects to help children in need.
