ACTIVITIES at AISK
The After School Activities Program is an important part of our AISK community. It is a fun way for your son or daughter to participate in educational, fun, active and well-animated and run activities. We are proud to offer a wide variety, from the artistic activities to the more active and sporting related activities. Children from our earliest grades right through to Grade 12 are welcome to participate. Activities take place after school, so students can move seamlessly from classes to activities, finishing at 4:10 p.m. for the Elementary, Middle and High School students.
While we are welcoming back some of our more popular activities, we are proud to welcome a selection of new activities to the list, including Martial Arts, Taekwon-Do, Mandarin & Chinese Calligraphy and Fencing programs.
While some of our activities are free, there are some that have a cost associated with them. All details of cost and payment are to be handled directly with the person or service that are providing the activity. It is important to note that AISK will not be responsible for any monies pertaining to the paid activities. All communications and handling of funds must be done directly with the provider.
While most of our activities are on campus, some are offered off campus. Transportation to and from the activities varies and we encourage you to get in contact with these providers to confirm details.
Online signing up for activities will be available shortly after the completion of the ASA Fair (TBC). Activities will start on Monday, September 9, 2019. Please note, all providers’ contact details are already on the website at the bottom of each activity description. The website will be updated regularly, so please be aware changes to information may occur.
Activities are divided into two semester sessions; September to December and January to May. Students are encouraged to stay with the programs they choose for the entire semester.
Looking forward to children being involved, active and happy throughout this school year!
