The school’s published statements of mission and philosophy align with those of the IB.
IB LEARNER PROFILE
The school publishes an AISK ́s Dynamic Learning Paradigm that develops the IB learner profile.
Staff members are extremely involved in different CAS activities within and beyond the school community.
The school has established a system to support the learning of mother tongues not taught in the school for foreign students.
EXPERTISE OF STAFF
The school has four teachers who are IB examiners.
The school offers students the possibility of taking the full diploma.
The school provides the learning of three languages in groups 1 and 2.
SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS
The school has developed the context to implement an inclusive program with policies and practices that effectively support students with special needs.
The school has an assessment policy that is comprehensive and consistent with DP expectations. All members of the middle and high school developed it collaboratively.
The academic honesty policy includes a clear reference to conduct in all forms of assessment related to school activities.
LONG-TERM PLAN FOR IB
The school’s action plan shows that the school has considered different aspects to enhance the development of the DP over time.
The school has implemented a plan to ensure the ongoing updating of all the facilities allocated to the DP.
ACCESS TO WRITTEN IB CURRICULUM
The written curriculum is available to teachers and students through Atlas Rubicon.
The school has incorporated different IT resources during the years under review.
The exam results show that teachers are aware of the requirements of the program.
The school has included regular meetings with staff to coordinate the EE process.
