The American International School of Kingston (AISK) is an independent private school in the capital city of Kingston, Jamaica. AISK offers education from the Early Development and pre-kindergarten years through to Grade 12 in a US-based education style.

2022-2023 FACULTY

Diversity is reflected not only in the student body but also in the staff/administration. There is a blending of national educators - 57 teachers of which 54% are Jamaican, 10 teachers or 18% are American and 16 teachers or 28% are third-country nationals from Canada, UK, Australia, The Netherlands and Germany. 46 out of 57 educators, or 80% have earned a Masters or PhD degree.

CALENDAR

The school calendar outlines 2 semesters. Semester 1 starts in August and ends in January. Semester 2 commences in January and finishes in June. Total school days are 181. The school day starts at 7:45 AM and ends at 3:00 PM for all students.
