AISK Athletic/Activities Philosophy

Athletics and activities are integral parts of the entire school setting, contributing greatly to a student's complete educational development. As such, we believe all students should have the opportunity to participate in athletics and activities, and that such participation is recognized as a student-privilege. An effective athletics and activities program is a product of the responsible cooperation among its four major contributors: the student, the staff, the administration and the parents of the students.

Participants are considered representatives of AISK by the act of participation. They are expected to maintain exemplary behavior and citizenship at all times. In this policy, the terms "coach" and "advisor" are interchangeable.

As a member of an AISK group you represent the entire school and we expect you do that in the best way that you can. We wish you a fun, and successful year.

American International School of Kingston (AISK) is committed to fair play, ethical behavior and integrity as well as providing all students an equal opportunity to participate in school sports and activities. Success is not only measured by academic achievement but also by the mark each student makes on the lives of others. Participants in extracurricular activities will gain life long skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, organization and commitment which will help with experiencing success throughout school and beyond.

AISK is committed to providing a competitive sports program, and a non-competitive program through our activities and club programs.
