AISK's dance studio is finally pumping. The Tony Wilson School of Modern Dance, The Junior Ensemble and The Company Dance Theatre are in residence. Welcome!

Tony Wilson
Artistic Director, Tony Wilson is a 'dynamic teacher with innovative ideas and the gift of being able to impart them. His strong love and appreciation of music form a strong base for his works. His sense of theatre is apparent in his staging, costume and set designs for the company'. (Monica DaSilva).

At AISK Mr. Wilson joins our faculty as Artistic Director and will have input, assist and support our teachers with our school productions. Our after school dance programme will be under his stewardship, ensuring that our programme will be a fun and fulfiling exploration into the world of dance.

Tony Wilson brings a wealth of experience and accomplishments to our school. This from years of study and performing with Alvin Ailey, Dance Theatre of Harlem, as a principal dancer and celebrated choreographer with the National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica, to being the 1991 recipient of the Caribbean Academy of Arts and Culture Award and more recently 'Best Choreographer 2009-Jamaica Junior Theatre's musical, 'Cats'. He has also done choreography for the Inner City Ballet Company in Buffalo, New York and the New Breed Dance Company in Chicago.
