New enhanced network accounts that went live in October 2008 have ensured that students and teachers have access to the latest educational software and learning tools. A new set of common computer software (a computer “image”), deployed in September, reduces problems by ensuring that all students and faculty have the programs they need in the right versions. This common image also reduces support ime and costs by giving us a way to quickly solve computer problems by restoring any machine to AISK’s base configuration.
